Description
MeteoGaz is a medical device that prevents the accumulation of gas and the symptoms associated with bloating. MeteoGaz is used to reduce excess intestinal gas as well as flatulence associated with digestive discomfort after meals and aerophagia.
Mechanism of action
MeteoGaz is composed of two polymers present in equivalent quantities. While their absorbent and surface-active properties may appear similar, their mechanisms of action differ in part, and their combination appears to be synergistic. Simeticone acts primarily as an anti-foaming agent, breaking up the gas bubbles that form on the surface of gastrointestinal secretions, then absorbing the gas. Polyvinylpolypyrrolidone, as well as having a great capacity for absorbing gas, forms a thin protective layer on the walls of the intestine, which helps to reduce the irritation of the gastrointestinal mucosa frequently associated with the overproduction of gas.
Directions for use
Take 1 stick maximum twice a day, preferably after lunch and dinner. Dissolve directly in the mouth.
