Indication This medication contains iron. It is treatment for anaemia from a lack of iron in adults and children from 10 years. It is also a preventative of iron deficiency for pregnant women. How to take Fumafer How to use Orally. Dosage Suitable for adults and children from the age of 10 years old. Curative treatment: - FOR ADULTS AND CHILDREN OVER 30KG (10 years): 2-3 tablets per day. Preventative treatment: - FOR PREGNANT WOMEN: 1 tablet per day for the last two trimesters (from the 4th month). Frequency of dose The time of dose is adapted depending on digestive tolerance. To limit any side effects it is recommended to divide the dose over several doses. Length of treatment It must be enough to cure the anaemia and restore the iron reserves (3-6 months). Compositionr Active substance (per one coated tablet): Iron (II) Fumarate: 200 mg Quantity of iron: 66 mg Other ingredients: Sodium carboxymethylamidon, wheat starch, povidone K90, sodium docusate, magnesium stearate.
