The fogger-humidifier diffuser offers 3 types of use:
- Diffusion of essential oils by misting: The ultrasonic diffuser delivers a light mist of water which transports the molecules or fine particles of essential oils put in the tank with the water. This diffusion system perfectly preserves the properties of essential oils, does not degrade the components of the essential oil.
- Air humidification: The puressentiel diffuser can also be used as a true air humidifier: it thus improves the comfort of the respiratory tract when the air is dry. Note that this air humidification can be done with or without the addition of essential oils and therefore can be put in a child's room to humidify (in this case, without essential oil). Thanks to its large tank, misting-humidification can last more than 12 hours. Its use is therefore ideal in case of dry atmosphere: period of significant heat, dry mountain air, overheated room (electric heating or fireplace), child's room...
- Air ionization: What is it for? The ultrasonic vibration produced by the diffuser promotes the production of negative ions beneficial to health, they are known to be soothing and energizing. In nature, these negative ions are created by the collision of water molecules produced by waterfalls in the mountains, waves in the sea... • This diffuser can just as well be used accompanied by a soft light mood lights with changing colors or no mood lights: the choice is yours!

Usage tips
Before any use or handling, check that the diffuser is switched off and unplugged. Never take your diffuser by holding it by the upper part (the outer cover), always take it in hand by holding it by its lower part (the base). Read the instructions before first use. 1) Place the diffuser on a stable surface, do not place it too close to an edge (it could fall over). Do not place it on or near furniture or surfaces sensitive to moisture. 2) Remove the lid 3) Fill the tank with cold water and enough (between 35 ml and 60 ml) so that the water detector indicator is completely submerged. Attention ! If the water level is below 35 ml, the diffuser does not work. Do not exceed the line indicating the maximum water level (60 ml). Do not use hot water, it could damage the diffuser. ˙ Then add a few drops of essential oil or Puressentiel® diffusion mix: generally 1 to 2 drops per 10 ml of water. 4) Replace the lid on the essential oil diffuser. 5) Insert the tip of the adapter into the DC-jack input located on the back of the diffuser and plug the adapter into a power outlet.
