Puressentiel organic lemon essential oil has a typical, fresh and tangy smell. Originally from ancient Media (between the Tigris River and the Caspian Sea), the lemon tree is grown throughout the Mediterranean basin.

Major properties
It is at the same time tonic, hepatic and anti-nausea, even if, traditionally, it was used above all as an anti-poison and a remedy for respiratory ailments. It purifies the air and fights against heavy legs, water retention and overweight when these are of hepatic origin. Energizing, it gives the "positive attitude" to regain your good mood!

Live fatigue, digestive system overworked or overloaded (after parties). Weak immunity or risk of catching a viral infection (cold, flu, gastroenteritis...) or if someone in the household is infected with a contagious illness. How to use
Liver : Swallow 2 drops of the mixed lemon on a neutral tablet or in 1 teaspoon of olive oil or honey or even a sugar cube, and leave to melt in the mouth, 3 times per day. Or drink 3 cups of herbal tea (verbena/mint) per day with 1 drop of lemon essential oil in (mixed with honey on a teaspoon for example).
Immunity : Apply 2-3 drops in its pure state onto the thorax and the top of the back morning and evening (for 1 week), to ensure you do not catch anything at home or when travelling. + Swallow 2 drops mixed in a teaspoon of olive oil or honey on a neutral tablet or on a sugar cube and leave to melt in the mouth before breakfast and dinner.
Circulation problems, excess weight : Dermal application of 10% vegetable oil (preferably arnica), or 5 drops of lemon in 50 drops of arnica oil.
Disinfecting the household: Regularly diffuse a few drops into ambient air.
Other very good uses
Tiredness (physical and mental) Skin problems: loose skin, wrinkles, boils, herpes, chilblain, spots... Hand care (damaged, dry) and nails (broken)
Tiredness : Apply 10 drops of lemon mixed with 50 drops of arnica vegetable oil and massage into the hands, feet, back or even the whole body.
Skin : Apply a few pure drops onto small areas (herpes, chilblain) or mixed with your day and night cream, normally anti-ageing cream).
Hand and Nail Care : Massage with sweet almond oil for dry hands. Use castor oil for broken nails.
Other use : It can reduce red marks thanks to its anti-mark properties in this essential oil.
Contraindication
The lemon oil can be aggressive for the skin so it is advisable to always dilute it (exceptions). However it is a photo-sensitiser: never apply the oil before sun exposure! Warning: the scents in this lemon oil can leave brown marks (difficult to get rid of) if exposed to the sun. Like all essential oils the lemon essential oil is not allowed during the first 3 months of pregnancy. It is also not to be used during breast feeding.
