Description
Myrrh, a small tree 3 to 5 meters high with gnarled and thorny branches, grows in several African countries, notably in Somalia, the country producing Puressentiel. Also called Commiphora myrrha in Latin, this subshrub was used by the Egyptians during their rituals for its refined and embalming perfume.
Myrrh Essential Oil is liquid or even slightly viscous with an amber yellow to brown color. It is characterized by balsamic, woody and sweet notes.
It is obtained by steam distillation of dried gum-resin crystals. Gum-resin is an exudate* naturally beading from the trunk: a mixture of gasoline, resin and gum).

Use
To be used in massage, facial, hair and body care, diluted in Puressentiel 3 organic vegetable oil massage oil (1 drop maximum in 5 ml of massage oil) Maximum 1 time per day. Occasional use
How to use
A little depression : mix 35 drops of myrrh EO, 35 drops of compact oregano EO, 70 drops of rosewood EO and 35 drops of palmarosa EO. Using five drops of this mixture, massage your back, focusing on the spine. Repeat the operation twice a day until your condition improves.
Mouth ulcers and gingivitis : dilute 10 to 15 drops of myrrh EO in approximately 30 ml of lukewarm water. Gargle (without swallowing) or rinse your mouth with it.
Skin ulcer : mix 35 drops of myrrh EO then the same quantity of aspic lavender, immortelle and pistachio mastic in 5 ml (185 drops) of calophyll vegetable oil and 5 ml of vegetable oil of St. John's wort. Apply this preparation three times a day until improvement.
