Botanical details of bergamot orange essential oil
The Bergamot Orange is a fruit from the Bergamot Orange tree. This fruit resembles a small orange with greenish flesh and smooth, thick skin, yellow in colour at maturity. Its flesh is slightly acidic and bitter. The Bergamot orange tree is mainly cultivated in Calabria, a region in the South-West of Italy.

Example of use of bergamot orange essential oil
Diffusion-purifying mix: 20 drops of bergamot orange EO + +20 drops of medicinal lavender EO + +20 drops of bitter orange EO.
Orally-to help digestion: 1 drop of bergamot orange EO + 1 drop of peppermint EO on a neutral tablet before or after each meal for 5 out of 7 days.
Precautions of use for bergamot orange essential oil
A photo sensitiser essential oil should not be exposed to the sun or UV rays in the 3 hours following its application. Not recommended for pregnant or breast feeding women or children under 8 years of age.
