Botany specifications
This conifer situated in the mountains reaches up to 2000 metres in height. We recognise it for its long pine needles joined together in twos at the base. The male cone parts produce an abundant amount of pollen to fertilise the female cone parts which then transform into fir cones.
Use
Diffusion +++, Bath ++, Massage +, Orally +
Ambient setting: on its own or in a mixture by regular low heat evaporation.
Atmospheric diffusion: in a mixture from a diffuser by spraying. Dermal application: diluting, 5-15% (maximum 30%) in vegetable oil.
Orally: diluted with some vegetable oil - only after medical agreement. 1-2 drops 3 times per day.
Dry inhalation: 1 drop on a tissue.
Steam Inhalation: not recommended
Practical advice
Nasal and bronchial blockage : Mix 100 drops of Sylvester pine EO + 35 drops of super lavandin EO in a 30ml bottle finished with macadamia vegetable oil. Apply onto the chest 2 to 3 times a day.
Important to know : The Sylvester pine essential oil can also be used with the ginger essential oil to relieve joint pains.
Breathing better : For cleaner air within the home: pour 10 drops of Sylvester pine EO + 10 drops of lemon EO into your electric diffuser.
Contraindication
Not recommended for pregnant or breast feeding women or children under 8 years of age. Avoid if you suffer from kidney failure or asthma.
