Sweet and flowery, the smell of palmarosa essential oil is reminiscent of the scent of roses. Originally from India and Nepal, the palmarosa is also planted in Pakistan, Indonesia, Brazil, Madagascar and the Comoros. It has been distilled in India and Turkey since the 18th century.

How to use
General skin problems : Apply a few drops locally (in its pure state if a small area) mixed with calophyll vegetable oil on the large area to be treated or if applied on the mucous membranes (genital organs).
Like a “deodorant“: Simply apply a few drops under the feet or armpits, or elsewhere if needed.
Angina, sore throat: Children > 7 years: 2 drops of palmarosa + 2 drops of niaouli in 3 drops of vegetable oil. Massage onto the top of the back, sternum and neck 3-4 times per day for 4 days.
Anti-viral: - Adults: 1 drop of Ravintsara + 1 drop of Niaouli + 1 drop of Palmarosa on a neutral tablet, 3 times per day for 4 days.
- Children > 7 years: 1 drop of Palmarosa + 1 drops of Ravintsara in 2 drops of vegetable oil. Massage onto the feet, top of the back, sternum and abdomen, 3 times per day.
Gastroenteritis: Children > 7 years: 1 drop of Palmarosa + 1 drops of Tarragon in 2 drops of vegetable oil on the lower stomach and lower back 2-3 times per day.
For slimming down : Mix 5ml of palmarosa with 5ml of vegetable oil (hazelnut if possible) and massage onto the effected areas starting from the bottom (ankles) going towards the top (thighs).
Daily treatments : 1-2 drops in your morning/night-time moisturising cream; it is the best thing you can for your skin.
Weak libido : Massage a few pure drops or diluted with 20% hazelnut vegetable oil (2 drops of essential oil for every 10 drops of vegetable oil) onto the lower back. + Diffuse a few drops into the atmosphere with a diffuser.
Other use : Palmarosa can help with giving birth. Only at the end of the pregnancy and only when spoken with an aromatherapy specialist.
Contraindication
This essential oil is not suitable for pregnant or breast feeding women.
