Clove essential oil has a frank and powerful smell. The clove tree is native to Indonesia, which remains the leading clove-producing country, but these are mainly used to make kreteks, local cigarettes. The essential oil comes from Madagascar, Tanzania, Sri Lanka, Comoros and Mayotte. The flower buds are picked before maturity and left to dry to form "nails". .

Main properties
Antiviral, antibacterial, antifungal, antiparasitic, analgesic and anti-inflammatory, it is sovereign against dental pain (because anesthetic). It facilitates digestion, relieves bacterial diarrhea but also constipation and intestinal spasms. Finally, it chases away both physical and intellectual fatigue. Its smell, which has the property of cutting hunger, is worth breathing in to support the long hours of religious fasting. A few drops on a ceramic pebble, or in a cup, effectively repel flies.
Main indications
All abscesses, dental and mouth pain: cavity, mouth ulcer, tonsillitis, dental pain and gum disease (even unknown origin), tooth extraction Intestinal, urinary, respiratory, viral infections: all (diagnostic and prescription done by therapist).
How to use
All dental pains : Apply 1 pure drop onto the painful area (cavity, ulcer, abscess) with the help of a cotton bud (for individuals with sensitive membranes do a preliminary test without touching the gum too much as this essential oil is very strong) leaving it in contact for several seconds, even more if possible. Repeat this several times per day (in the case of a tooth extraction, do it before and after). + For a mouth wash, dilute 3 drops of clove oil diluted in a little bit of alcohol then in a glass of water. Swish the mixture around the mouth, gargle then spit out.
"appetite suppressant" effect: mix in a bottle 60 drops of essential oil of clove with as much essential oil of Ceylon cinnamon and breathe this mixture into the bottle (5 long inspirations) in case of cravings.

Intestinal infection: Apply 2 drops of clove diluted in 10 drops of vegetable oil (preferably hazelnut) and massage onto the stomach.
Tiredness: Apply 2 drops of clove diluted in 10 drops of vegetable oil (preferably hazelnut) and massage along the spine.
Other use : You can add 1 drop of clove into your cold or hot dishes, salty or sweet, making sure to dilute it with a tablespoon of oil (preferable olive) or honey.
Contraindication
Do not use this oil for more than 1 week. Not recommended for pregnant or breast feeding women or children under 7 years of age. Do not use it in its pure state on skin!
