Indications Hémoclar 0.5% Cream is recommended as a supplementary treatment for minor trauma (such as bumps and bruises). Suitable for both adults and children (age 1 and over). Directions for Use For external, topical use. DosageApply between 2 and 4 times a day to the damaged area. Massage the cream very gently into the skin. Ingredients Active Ingredient (per 100 g of cream): Pentosan sulphuric polyester: 0.500 g Other Ingredients: Non-ionic emulsifying wax with cetostearomacrogol, polyglycolised corn oil, glycerol, propylene glycol (E1520), methylparaben (E218), levulinic acid, sodium hydroxide, purified water. Packaging This medicine is made as a cream and packaged in 30 g tubes. Precautions for Use – For external use only. Do not swallow. – Contains propylene glycol (E1520). May cause skin irritation. – Contains paraben. May cause allergic reaction. If cutaneous allergic reaction occurs, discontinue treatment. – Wash hands thoroughly after use to avoid any accidental contact with eyes and mucus membranes. Contra-indications Do NOT use if: – you are allergic to, or suffer a drop in blood platelets after taking, heparins or similar anti-coagulants; or – you are allergic or hypersensitive to any of this medicine's ingredients (which include propylene glycol and methylparaben). Use by Women who are Pregnant or Breast-FeedingYou are advised NOT to use this medicine. If you discover that you are pregnant while using this medicine, consult your doctor – only they are qualified to decide whether or not you should continue the treatment.
