Description
“The yellow gold of the mountains” illuminates the slopes of the massifs of France up to nearly 2,000 m. Also nicknamed “grass at the falls”, Arnica montana is a protected species and its collection is strictly supervised. Picking is organized on the official date, in June-July, at the very beginning of flowering; the pickers intervene in the early hours of the day, in order to preserve all the qualities of the flower. Obtained by macerating dried flowers in Sunflower oil, Arnica oily macerate is recognized for its properties: anti-inflammatory, analgesic - anti-bruise - anti-rheumatic - circulatory effect.

Properties
Analgesic, anti-inflammatory, anti-contusion, circulatory tonic. There are many "ointments" and "tinctures" containing arnica, and it is also used in the form of "homeopathic granules" in the prevention and treatment of hematomas. The oily macerate makes it possible to obtain a concentrate of active ingredients contained in the arnica flowers.
Using advice
Apply once or twice a day in massage on the areas of the body concerned. Can be used before or after a sports activity. For adults and children from 3 years old. Dermatologically tested.
Examples of uses
Athletes (12 years and over): mix 1 drop of wintergreen essential oil + 2 drops of super lavandin essential oil in a teaspoon of arnica vegetable oil. Apply the mixture in tonic friction before the effort and in soft and deep massage after the effort.
Body aches, lumbago, torticollis (12 years and over): mix 2 drops of rosemary camphor essential oil + 1 drop of Ceylon cinnamon essential oil in a teaspoon of arnica vegetable oil. Apply the mixture in a gentle massage, 3 times a day, for 4 to 8 days.
Osteoarthritis (adult): dilute 3 drops of laurel essential oil in 5 to 8 drops of arnica vegetable oil. Apply the mixture to the painful area, 3 times a day, for 7 days.
Precautions for use
Cutaneous application. Avoid contact with eyes. Wash hands thoroughly before and after use. Do not apply on a wound. Do not use in pregnant and breastfeeding women. Caution in people allergic mainly to plants of the Asteraceae family.
