Description 

Local treatment of mycoses (diseases caused by microscopic fungi) of the vulva and vagina which are sometimes superinfected. 

Advice for use 

1 egg preferably in the evening at bedtime, as a single administration. 

Insert the egg deep into the vagina, preferably in a lying position. The easiest way to do this is to lie on your back with your knees bent and spread apart.

Precaution of use

Take care with MYLEUGYNE L.P. 150 mg, sustained-release ointment: Local treatment of the fungus is only one part of the overall treatment. In order to avoid relapses, it is essential that your doctor check for favourable factors. Do not use acidic soap for local hygiene, as the acidity encourages the proliferation of fungi.

This treatment can lead to local burning sensations and increased itching. These phenomena usually subside spontaneously with continued treatment. If the symptoms persist for more than 24 to 48 hours, discontinue the treatment and consult your doctor.

Composition 

Econazole nitrate: 150 mg for one sustained-release ovule. Excipients: Galactomannan, colloidal anhydrous silica, solid hemisynthetic glycerides (type Wl H15 and WE FS), stearyl enantate.
